Business Description

Mason Heritage Foundation (MHF), a local Leander non-profit, was organized by descendants of the Mason family in 1997, one of the earliest families in Leander. Today, the officers and membership of MHF has expanded to include regular citizens who want to protect and share the history of our growing city. The mission of the MHF is to provide funding for the repair and restoration of historically significant sites including but not limited to historic buildings, cemeteries, markers, and cultural icons; to promote historical education through community presentations, school programs, reenactments, writing of books, newspaper articles and other literature; and to sponsor, host and/or participate in events and activities that promote the Mason Heritage Foundation and the history of Leander.
