Leander Film Festival 2026 Experience five days of movie magic right here in your own backyard. The inaugural Leander Film Festival, presented by the Leander Arts and Film Alliance, opens Veterans Day with a special screening of Sgt. Stubby at the Leander VFW and brings red carpet premieres, independent and international films, student showcases, industry panels, and filmmaker mixers to venues across the Leander area. Highlights include the opening night premiere at Alamo Drafthouse, panels on Texas'' new $1.5 billion film incentive, a live band and Hill Country lounge party, and an film awards banquet.
