The Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Leander Post 10427 is proud to support the next generation of leaders and educators through three scholarship opportunities open to local students and teachers.

Voice of Democracy – Audio-essay competition for high school students (Grades 9–12)

Patriot’s Pen – Written essay contest for middle school students (Grades 6–8)

Teacher of the Year – Nominate an outstanding K–12 educator who promotes civic responsibility and patriotism in the classroom

 - Local awards up to $2000 and national awards up to $35,000!
