Volunteer as you have time, no minimum requirements.

Rides are available 5:30am - 5:00 pm, 7 days a week

Volunteer position only, paid in smiles and appreciation from the clients

This is a volunteer position - completely flexible and one that will make a huge impact on your senior neighbors! Drive a Senior Northwest has been coordinating volunteers for our Leander and Cedar Park senior neighbors for almost 40 years, assisting them with rides to medical appointments, grocery shopping, and social events. As seniors in our area have little to no public transit, and as they outlive their driving age, the only option to stay healthy, connected and living independently is our program - be there are more clients needing rides than we have volunteer drivers.

Volunteers use their own cars to transport the clients to and/or from their appointments, choosing from our easy-to-use online schedule to pick a service opportunity that fits into your day! One drive a month - one drive a week, every ride helps a senior get to a critical appointment and keeps them living in their own homes longer!
