Board Training Program

I Live Here I Give Here’s annual Board Training Program is a full-day immersive educational opportunity featuring two tracks to serve the needs of both future and existing nonprofit board members and nonprofit executives.

For individuals ready to step into community leadership with confidence, clarity, and real impact, the Emerging Board Leader Track explores a wide range of best practices in nonprofit board settings. Emerging Board Leader participants will have access to both tracks, including sessions on nonprofit governance, fundraising, board responsibilities, and finding the right board fit for your skills and passions.

Current nonprofit employees and board members will enjoy our Nonprofit Staff & Board Track. Sessions focus on board-staff relationships, governance, fundraising collaboration, and building healthier, more effective nonprofit leadership structures.

Registration includes a continental breakfast, box lunch, and beverages. Nonprofit organizations will be stationed in the Balcones Room for board matching throughout the day. Thanks to our partners at CauseVox, your first drink at the offsite Happy Hour is complimentary.

Emerging Board Leader Track - $225 For new and aspiring nonprofit board members. This track is designed for individuals ready to step into community leadership with confidence, clarity, and real impact. Your ticket includes access to both conference tracks. Nonprofit Staff & Board Track - $200 | $35 for Nonprofit Members For nonprofit staff leaders and current board members. Focused sessions on board-staff relationships, governance, fundraising collaboration, and building healthier, more effective nonprofit leadership structures.
